PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DENGAN PENILAIAN PROYEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PENGETAHUAN IPS DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH TEMA CITA-CITAKU SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 14 DAUH PURI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPS melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek, (2) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek terteliti siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Dauh Puri, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 berjumlah 32 orang. Tindakan dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Siklus I terdiri atas 3 pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri atas 3 pertemuan. Setiap pertemuannya secara berdaur mulai perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data hasil belajar pengetahuan IPS siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes objektif, sedangkan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah dikumpulkan dengan tes essay. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPS dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada kelas IV di SD Negeri 14 Dauh Puri tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Pada siklus I diketahui pencapaian hasil belajar pengetahuan IPS sebesar 65,00% dengan kategori cukup dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 74,21 % belum sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan . Sedangkan pada siklus II pencapaian hasil belajar pengetahuan IPS sebesar 82,18% dengan kategori tinggi dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 82,40 % sudah sesuai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPS dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Dauh Puri.

This study aims to (1) determine the increase learning outcomes IPS through scientific approach with project assessment, (2) to increase the ability of solving problems through scientific approach with project assessment. This study is a Class Action Research (CAR) with the 4th grade in elementary school students as the subject. (SD N 14 Dauh Puri). The subject are 32 students. This class action research is performed in 2 cycles. The first cycle consists of 3 meetings and the second cycle consists of 3 meetings. Each meeting has four phase that are planning, action, observation, and reflection.Student learning outcomes data collected using objective tests, while the problem-solving ability is collected by essay test. The data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed the application of a scientific approach with the project assessment can improve learning outcomes problem solving skills of students in the fourth grade in elementary school (SD N 14 Dauh Puri). In the first cycle shows, achievement of learning outcomes is 65.00% (fair) and problem-solving abilities is 74.21% but it is not suitable with indicators. While in the second cycle shows achievement of learning outcomes is 82.18% (high) and problem solving skills is 82.40% and it is appropriate with indicators. It can be concluded that through the application of scientific approach with theproject assessment can improve learning outcomes of Social Science and problem solving skills in fourth grade students of SD N 14 Dauh Puri.
