PENERAPAN MIND MAPPING DALAM PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKn DAN SIKAP SOSIAL TEMA CITA-CITAKU PADA SISWA KELAS IVA SD NEGERI 29 PEMECUTAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn dan sikap sosial siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 29 Pemecutan dengan menerapakan mind mapping dalam pembelajaran saintifik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang melibatkan sebanyak 37 siswa. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar sedangkan data sikap sosial siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar kuesioner.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn dan sikap sosial siswa kelas IVA di SD Negeri 29 Pemecutan. Ini terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 77,1% berada pada kriteria sedang, kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 87,89% berada pada kriteria sangat tinggi, dan untuk ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 78,83% kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 91,89% . Untuk sikap sosial siswa pada siklus I sebesar 2,99 berada pada predikat baik (B), kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 3,36 berada pada kriteria sangat baik (A-). Maka hasil belajar PKn dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 10,73%, sedangkan sikap sosial mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,37.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, penerapan mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn dan sikap sosial tema cita-citaku pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 29 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.

This research aims to improve students’ achievement of Civics and social attitudes IVA of SD Negeri 29 pemecutan by applying the mind mapping in scientific learning. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles, and each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The research subjects were students in the class IVA in the academic year 2014/2015 that involved 37 students. Data of students’ achievement collected using achievement test instrument while data on students’ social attitudes were collected using questionnaire sheet instruments.The results of the research showed that application of mind mapping in the scientific approach can improve students’ achievement of Civics and social attitudes IVA of SD Negeri 29 pemecutan. It is seen from the average of students’ learning achievement in the I cycle of 77.1% at the medium criteria, then the II cycle of 87.89% at the highest criteria, and for the classical complete in the I cycle of 78,83% then in the II cycle at 91,89%. For the social attitudes students’ in the I cycle of 2.99 at good criteria (B), then in the II cycle of 3,36 at very good criteria (A-). Thus learning achievement of civics from cycle I to cycle II increased by 10.73 % , while social attitudes increased by 0.37.Thus, it can be conclude that, the application of mind mapping in the scientific approach can improve students’ achievement of Civics and social attitudes theme my dreams for the students IVA of SD Negeri 29 pemecutan academic year 2014/2015.
