PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS TERHADAP SIKAP SOSIAL DENGAN KOVARIABEL INTENSITAS HUBUNGAN DALAM POLA ASUH KELUARGA PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD PERKOTAAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap sikap sosial, setelah diadakan pengendalian terhadap variabel intensitas hubungan dalam pola asuh keluarga pada siswa kelas IV SD Perkotaan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain analisis single factor independent groups design with use of covariate. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas IV pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang ada di SD perkotaan gugus XIII Kecamatan Buleleng dengan sampel berjumlah 45 orang siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode kuesioner. Pengolahan data menggunakan anakova dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat perbedaan sikap sosial antara siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan saintifik dengan siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Perkotaan. (2) setelah diadakan pengendalian terhadap variabel intensitas hubungan dalam pola asuh keluarga, terdapat perbedaan sikap sosial antara siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan saintifik dengan siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan konvensional. (3) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kovariabel intensitas hubungan dalam pola asuh keluarga terhadap sikap sosial siswa.Kata Kunci : intensitas pola asuh keluarga, pendekatan saintifik, sikap sosial
The purpose of the research to investigate the effect of scientific approach on social attitudes, after covariable intensive the family’s guidance controlled of the fourth grade students in urban Primary School. This research was experiment research with analysis design single factor independent groups design with use of covariate. The populations of this research were all of fourth grade students subdistrict in academic year 2014/2015 in urban Primary School of cluster XIII Kecamatan Buleleng with the total sample 45 students selected by random sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaire. The data was collected analyzed by anacova one way with SPSS 16.0 for windows. The result of analysis shows that (1) there was a difference social attitudes between group of students that followed learning scientific approach and group of students that followed learning conventional approach. (2) there was a difference of social attitudes between group of students that followed learning scientific approach and group of students that followed learning conventional approach after covariable intensive the family’s guidance controlled. (3) there was a contribution intensive the family’s guidance of social attitudes.
