PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK TALK WRITE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SIKAP ILMIAH SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write pada siswa kelas V SD No. 8 Banyuning, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD No. 8 Banyuning berjumlah 36 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah sikap ilmiah siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan kuisioner. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan persentase sikap ilmiah siswa kelas V SD No. 8 Banyuning. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, persentase sikap ilmiah aspek sering mengajukan pertanyaan pada siklus I adalah 66,67% meningkat menjadi 83,33% (kategori tinggi) pada siklus II. Persentase banyak ide pada siklus I adalah 63,89% meningkat menjadi 81,94% (kategori tinggi) pada siklus II. Persentase tidak mengganggu teman pada siklus I adalah 67,36% meningkat menjadi 82,64% (kategori tinggi) pada siklus II. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil kuisioner, aspek sering mengajukan pertanyaan pada siklus I adalah 76,62% meningkat menjadi 83,06% (tinggi) pada siklus II. Persentase banyak ide pada siklus I adalah 67,78% meningkat menjadi 84,63% (tinggi) pada siklus II. Persentase tidak mengganggu teman pada siklus I adalah 73,43% meningkat menjadi 85,37% (tinggi) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V SD No. 8 Banyuning, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.

The aim of the research was to improve the scientific attitude of students in Science subjects by applying the learning Think Talk Write model in class V SD No. 8 Banyuning, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, Academic Year 2014/2015. This research belong to classroom action research, which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research is V grade students of SD No. 8 Banyuning which is consist of 36 students. The object of this research is students scientific attitude. Collecting data in this study conducted by the method of observation and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by statistic descriptive techniques. The result of this research is improvement of students scientific attitude in V grade students of SD No. 8 Banyuning. Based on observation, the percentage of aspects of the scientific attitude frequently asked questions in the first cycle is increased by 66.67% improve to be 83.33% (high category) in the second cycle. The percentage of the attitude of many ideas or creativity in the first cycle was 63.89% improve to be 81.94% (high category) in the second cycle. The percentage of attitude does not disturbing friends in the first cycle was 67.36% improve to be 82.64% (high category) in the second cycle. Furthermore, based on the results of the questionnaire, the aspect frequently asked questions according to the context of the material for the first cycle was 76.62% improve to be 83.06% (high category) in the second cycle. The percentage of the attitude of many ideas or creativity in the first cycle was 67.78% improve to be 84.63% (high category) in the second cycle. The percentage of attitude does not interfere with a friend on the first cycle was 73.43% improve to be 85.37% (high category) in the second cycle. Based on the findings of this research it can be conclude that the implementation of the Think Talk Write (TTW) model can improve students scientific attitude in science class in V grade students is SD No. 8 Banyuning, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, in academic year 2014/2015.
