PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PROYEK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar matematika antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbasis proyek dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experimen dengan rancangan post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas IVA dan kelas IVB. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Berdasarkan teknik tersebut, diperoleh kelas IVB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IVA sebagai kelas kontrol. Data yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar matematika yang dikumpulkan melalui tes objektif pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar matematika siswa antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbasis proyek dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t, dengan thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (thitung = 8,769 > ttabel = 2,000). Rata-rata skor kelompok eksperimen adalah 12,54 dan rata-rata skor kelompok kontrol adalah 11,03. Dengan demikian, pendekatan saintifik berbasis proyek berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, berbasis proyek, hasil belajar, matematika
This study aims to find out the significant effect of students’ achievement in mathematics lesson between group of students who teach by using the learning project-based scientific approach and group of students who teach by using conventional approach. This study is quasi experiment which uses post-test only control group design. The population of this study is all students in 4 th Grade of SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan which consists of two classes, class IVA and IVB class. The sample of this study is chose by using surfeited sampling. Dealing with the sampling technique, class IVA as experiment group and IVB as control group. The data which are analyzed in this study are the result of students’ achievement in mathematics lesson in cognitive scope which is collected through objective multiple choice test. The data are analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistic (Null-Hypothesis). The result of the study shows that there is a significant effect in students’ achievement in mathematics lesson between group of students who teach by learned with the learning project-based scientific approach and group of students who teach by using conventional approach. The result can be seen from the result of hypothesis test using Null-Hypothesis that thitung more than ttable (thitung = 8,769 > ttabel = 2,000). The average score of experiment group is 12,54 and the average score of control group is 11,03 . It means that the learning project-based scientific approach has an effect of students’ achievement in mathematics lesson in the 4th Grade of SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan, in the academic year 2014/2015.
