PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional; (2) perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional; (3) perbedaan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran STAD dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Klungkung tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 175 orang. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IV SDN 1 Semarapura Klod yang berjumlah 46 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar IPS. Data yang diperoleh, dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji analisis multivariat (MANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (F = 125,711 dan Sig.= 0,000); (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (F = 18,964 dan Sig.= 0,000); (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (F = 73,425 dan Sig.= 0,000). Jadi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci : model STAD, motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar IPS
This study aims to know: (1) the differences of learning motivation among students who take the learning with STAD and students who follow learning with conventional learning models; (2) the differences of learning achievement in IPS among students who take the learning with STAD and students who follow learning with conventional learning models; (3) the differences of learning motivation and learning achievement in IPS among students who take the learning with STAD and students who follow learning with conventional learning models. The type of research is quasi-experimental. The population was grade IV Gugus IV Klungkung district in Academic Year 2014/2015 with 175 people. The research sample is class IV SDN 1 Semarapura Klod with 46 people. Questionnaires and objective tests were used to measure learning motivation and learning achievement of social studies students. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and multivariate analysis test (MANOVA). The research results indicate that: (1) the difference of learning motivation among studies follow the model of cooperative learning STAD and students who take the conventional learning model (F = 125,711 and Sig.= 0,000); (2) the difference of learning achievement in IPS among students follow the cooperative of learning model STAD and students who take the conventional learning model (F = 18,964 and Sig.= 0,000); (3) the difference between learning motivation and learning achievement of social studies students who take cooperative learning model STAD and students who take the conventional learning model (F = 73,425 and Sig.= 0,000).
