Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS), hasil belajar IPA
ABSTRACT This study aims to investigate the differences upon students’ achievement in science between the students who are taught by using Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) Learning Model with the students who are taught by using conventional learning model. This study is a semi experimental research with nonequivalent posttest only control group design. The population of the study is all of the students of grade IV in Gugus VI Sukasada Sub District in the academic year 2014/2015 which contains of 8 schools with the number of population are 214 students. There are 35 students chosen as samples who are decided by using random sampling technique. The data which are analyzed in this study is the students’ achievement in science which are collected through test method with the instrument of data collection by using multiple choice type test with one correct answer. The data are analyzed by using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic. Based on the data analysis by using t-test, the result shows that the score of t-count = 29.305 and t-table = 2.0357 (db = 33 with 5% of significant degree level). The result of the calculation shows that t-count is bigger than t-table (t-count> t-table) so the result is significant. This means that there is a significant different in students’ science achievement between the group of students who are taught by using SSCS with the group of students who are taught by using conventional learning model in grade IV students in Gugus VI Sukasada Sub District, Buleleng Regency.
