PENGARUH TGT BERBANTUAN CONCEPT MAPPING TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR IPA KELAS IV SD GUGUS IV PUPUAN

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media concept mapping dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap minat belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Pupuan Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan non-equivalent post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IV SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Pupuan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling, tetapi yang dirandom adalah kelas. Kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah kelas IV di SD Negeri No. 3 Belimbing dan SD Negeri No 1 Sanda. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuesioner minat belajar IPA. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dalam dua tahap, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t sample independent). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data minat belajar IPA, ditemukan hasil yaitu terdapat perbedaan minat belajar IPA yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media concept mapping dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (thit=4,419 > ttab=2,000). Berdasarkan pemaparan di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media concept mapping berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Pupuan Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.

The aim of this study was to determine the differences between groups of students that learned by a TGT learning model assisted with concept mapping media. The groups of students that learned by conventional learning model to learn science toward their interest for the fourth grade students in Cluster IV Pupuan district in Academic Year 2014/2015. In this study used quasi experimental design with non-equivalent post test only control group design. The population was around the fourth grade elementary schools students in Cluster IV Pupuan district. The sampling technique used was random sampling, in this research the class were randomized. The sample class that was used in this research was fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Belimbing and SD N 1 Sanda. The research instrument was a questionnaire of interest in learning science. The data obtained were analyzed in two stages, namely the descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (independent sample t-test). Based on result of the data analysis showed that students interest in learning science, found that there was significant difference interest in learning science between groups of students that learned with a media-assisted learning model TGT assisted with concept mapping and groups of students that learned with conventional learning models (tobs = 4.419 > ttab = 2,000). Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that learning using TGT learning model and concept mapping media affect the interest of learning science for fourth grade elementary students in Cluster IV Pupuan district in academic year 2014/2015.
