PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MANDIRI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD DI GUGUS IV KECAMATAN SUKASADA TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan dalam perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran mandiri dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Sukasada tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas IV di Gugus IV Kecamatan Sukasada, Kabupaten Buleleng tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 188 orang. Sebanyak 59 siswa yang dipilih sebagai sampel yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Data yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA siswa, yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes dengan instrumen pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tes pilihan ganda (objektif) dengan satu jawaban benar. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung sebesar 11,14, sedangkan t tabel dengan db = 59 pada taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 2,000. Hal ini berarti, t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel (t-hitung > t-tabel) sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran mandiri dan siswa yang belajar dengan penbelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Sukasada, Kabupaten Buleleng tahun ajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran mandiri, hasil belajar IPA
ABSTRACT This reserach aimed at finding out the problems on differences between the science learning result of students who learnt through independent learning model and the conventional one, of which on the fourth grade on elementary school in Gugus IV, Sukasada in academic year 2014/2015. This reserach was semi experimental. The population was 188 students of fourth grade students in Gugus IV, Sukasada. 59 students were chosen as the sample through random sampling technique. The data analysed was the science learning result, which was collected through testing method by multiple choices (objective) test instrument. The data was analysed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (t-test). The result of this research shows that the t-distributions was 11,14 while the t-table with db- 59 on significance level 5% was 2,000. This means t-distributions was higher than t-table (t-distributions > t-table), thus H0is rejected and H1is accepted. It canbe concluded that there is a significant difference between the learning result of the studets who learn through independent learnng model and conventional learning model, espciall those in the fourth grade of Gugus IV, Sukasada, Buleleng in academic year 2014/2015.
