PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS III SD No. 2 BENOA TAHUN 2014/2015

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III SD No. 2 Benoa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. SD No.2 Benoa merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan formal yang memiliki jumlah siswa yang banyak namun dalam pencapaian hasil belajar belum maksimal, pada observasi awal yang dilakukan, nilai hasil belajar siswa ternyata dibawah nilai KKM yang telah ditentukan. KKM mata pelajaran matematik di SD No.2 benoa sebesar 75 dan sekitar 14,29% dari 42 orang siswa di kelas III belum memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Dalam hal ini guru matematika di SD No.2 Benoa ingin mengubah cara pengajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu, tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan repleksi. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 42 orang. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode tes dengan menggunakan instrument berupa tes objektif yang berjumlah 10 soal dan uraian yang berjumlah 5 soal diberikan setiap akhir siklus. Hasil belajar matematika dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis data tentang hasil belajar matematika pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata persentase hasil belajar matematika siswa 71,67 % berada pada kategori sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikal 57 % dan pada siklus II didapatkan nilai rata-rata persentase hasil belajar matematika siswa 81 % berada pada kategori tinggi dengan ketuntasan klasikal 83 %. Dengan demikian nilai rata-rata persentase hasil belajar matematika siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat 9,33%.Sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat 28,57 % Jadi dapat disimpulkan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika siswa kelas III SD No.2 Benoa tahun 2014/2015.

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Class III SD No. 2 Benoa through the implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD. SD 2 Benoa is one of the formal educational institutions that have a lot, but the number of students in achieving the learning outcomes is not maximized, the preliminary observations made, the value of student learning outcomes turned out to be below the predetermined value KKM. KKM subjects in elementary mathematics benoa 2 by 75 and approximately 14.29% of the 42 students in the class III not meet these criteria. In this case the teacher of mathematics in elementary 2 Benoa want to change the way of teaching by applying cooperative learning model type STAD. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and repleksi. The subjects in this study were students of class III, which amounted to 42 people. In this research method used is the test method using the form of objective test instruments totaling 10 questions and descriptions given amounting to 5 questions each end of the cycle. Mathematics learning outcomes were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive. Analysis of data on the outcomes of learning mathematics in the first cycle obtained by the average value of the percentage of students 'mathematics learning 71.67% in middle category with classical completeness 57% and the second cycle obtained average value of the percentage of students' mathematics learning is at 81% high category with classical completeness 83%. Thus the average value of the percentage of students' mathematics learning results from the first cycle to the second cycle increased 9.33% .Sedangkan classical completeness of the cycle I to cycle II increased by 28.57% So we can conclude Implementation STAD Cooperative Learning Model can improve learning outcomes third grade students of elementary mathematics 2 Benoa year 2014/2015
