Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Numerik Siswa Kelas IV SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap hasil belajar Matematika ditinjau dari kemampuan numerik siswa kelas IV SD di desa Tegallinggah. Sebanyak 72 siswa kelas IV SD dipilih sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan numerik dan tes hasil belajar Matematika. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisis Varians (ANAVA) Dua Jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional (FAhitung = 54,035 > Ftabel = 3,99), (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan numerik siswa terhadap hasil belajar Matematika (FBhitung = > Ftabel = 3,99), (3) pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan numerik tinggi, hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional (Qhitung = 20,669 > Qtabel = 4,00), (4) pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan numerik rendah, hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Qhitung = 5,97 > Qtabel = 4,00).

This research did to know the effect of project based learning toward mathematics learning achievement viewed from numeric ability of the fourth grade students of elementary schools in Tegallinggah. 72 fourth grade students in Tegallinggah regency were selected randomly as the sample of this research. The data were gathered using numeric ability test and mathematics learning achievement test. The data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance, which was followed by Tukey test. The result of the analysis shows that: (1) there is significant difference of mathematics learning achievement between student following project based learning and those following conventional learning (FAhitung = 54,035 > Ftabel = 3,99), (2) there is significant interaction effect between learning model and numeric ability on mathematics learning achievement (FBhitung = > Ftabel = 3,99), (3) for student having high numeric ability, mathematics learning achievement of student following project based learning is higher than those following conventional learning (Qhitung = 20,669 > Qtabel = 4,00), (4) for student having low numeric ability, mathematics learning achievement of student following conventional is higher than those following project based learning learning (Qhitung = 5,97 > Qtabel = 4,00).
