PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH BERORIENTASI MASALAH MATEMATIKA TERBUKA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah matematika terbuka dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas IV SD di Gugus XV Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SD di Gugus XV Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 257 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas IV SD No. 2 Anturan yang berjumlah 31 orang dan kelas IV SD No. 1 Anturan yang berjumlah 31 orang. Data hasil belajar matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk uraian. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thitung = 5,405 dan ttabel = 2,000 (pada taraf signifikansi 5%). Hal ini berarti bahwa thitung > ttabel, sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berorientasi masalah matematika terbuka dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dari rata-rata hitung, diketahui rata-rata kelompok eksperimen adalah 33,29 dan rata-rata kelompok kontrol adalah 26,48. Hal ini berarti bahwa rata-rata eksperimen lebih besar rata-rata kontrol, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berorientasi masalah matematika terbuka berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus XV Kecamatan Buleleng.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran berbasis masalah, hasil belajar
This study aims to determine the difference in learning outcomes of mathematic between students who were taught by using mathematic problem based learning and the students who were taught by using conventional way in fourth grade students at gugus XV buleleng district in the academic year 2014/2015. This study was the quasi experimental research. The population was in the fourth grade Gugus XV Buleleng District in the academic year 2014/2015, amounting to 257 people. Samples of this research that fourth grade SD No. 2 Anturan, amounting to 31 people and a fourth grade SD No. 1 Anturan which amounts to 31 people. Math student learning outcomes data collected by instruments shaped test description. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (t-test). Based on the analysis of data, obtained t = 5,405 and table = 2,000 (at the 5% significance level). This means that tcount > ttable, so it can be interpreted that there are significant differences between the mathematics learning outcomes of students who take the learning-oriented problem-based learning model open mathematical problems and students who follow learning with conventional learning models. Of the arithmetic mean, median known experimental group was 33,29 and the average control group was 26,48. This means that on average a larger experiment the average control, so it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning model open mathematical problem-oriented influence on mathematics learning outcomes fourth grade students in Gugus XV Buleleng.
