PENGARUH PICTURE AND PICTURE BERBANTUAN POWERPOINT TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI SISWA SD KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media PowerPoint dan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa SD kelas IV di Gugus III Udayana Kecamatan Mendoyo Kabupaten Jembrana tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus III Udayana Kecamatan Mendoyo Kabupaten Jembrana tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling, tetapi yang dirandom adalah kelas. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah rubrik penskoran keterampilan menulis karangan narasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dalam dua tahap, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t sample independent). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data keterampilan menulis karangan narasi kelompok siswa, ditemukan perbedaan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media PowerPoint dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (thitung=5,47 dan ttabel=2,000, sehingga thitung > ttabel). Berdasarkan pemaparan di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media PowerPoint berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa SD kelas IV di Gugus III Udayana Kecamatan Mendoyo Kabupaten Jembrana.Kata Kunci : PowerPoint, narasi, picture and picture
The aims of this study are to determine the effect of picture and picture learning model using PowerPoint and conventional learning model to the narrative essay writing skills of the elementary school students in the 4th grade of the Cluster III Udayana, Mendoyo District Jembrana Regency of the academic year 2014/2015. This study is a quasi experiment research with non equivalent post-test only control group design. The data of the study was taken from the 4th grade of the Cluster III Udayana, Mendoyo District Jembrana Regency of the academic year 2014/2015. The technique used in this study is random sampling technique, however only the classes are randomized during the observation. The instrument of this observation is the narrative essay writing skills scoring rubric. The data were analyzed in two stages, which are the descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (independent sample t-test). Based on the analysis of the narrative essay writing skills of the students, there is found significant difference in narrative essay writing skills between group of students which taught using picture and picture learning model using PowerPoint and group of students which taught with conventional learning model (tcalculate= 5.47 and ttable= 2,000, so tcalculate > ttable). Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the teaching and learning process using picture and picture learning model using PowerPoint media influence the narrative essay writing skills of the 4th grade of the Cluster III Udayana, Mendoyo District Jembrana Regency of the academic year 2014/2015.
