PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LEARNING CYCLE 5E BERBANTUAN LKS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS V SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E Berbantuan LKS dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SD Gugus X Kecamatan Kintamani Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 143 orang. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 31 orang siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sekardadi yang digunakan sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 29 orang siswa SD Negeri Kedisan yang digunakan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes berbentuk tes objektif. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji-t untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen adalah 23,85 dengan kategori sangat tinggi dan nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol adalah 20,01 dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (5,33 > 2,001). Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E berbantuan LKS dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung pada siswa kelas V di SD Gugus X Kecamatan Kintamani Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : learning cycle 5E, hasil belajar
This study aims to determine the difference between Science learning results of students group whose study by using learning cycle 5E learning model which is aided by LKS and the group of students whose study by using the instructional learning model This study is a quasi-experimental research. The population of the research is the five grade students of elementary school in Cluster X Kintamani sub-district academic year 2014/2015, with the amount of the students are 143 people. The samples of this research are the five grade students in SD Negeri Sekardadi with the total of the students are 31 as the experimental class and the five grade students of SD Negeri Kedisan with the total of the students are 29 as the control class. The data is collected by using test instrument in form of objective test. The collection of data is analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis (t-test). The result of the study find that the mean score of the experimental class is 23,85 which is categorized ar very high category and the control class is 20,01 which is categorized at hight category. The result of hypothese test using t-test find that . tthat is more than ttable (5,33 > 2.001). Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the learning cycle 5E learning model which is aided by LKS is giving positive effect on the learning outcomes of five grade science students in Cluster X Kintamani sub-district Academic Year 2014 / 2015.
