PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN ASESMEN PRODUK TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPA DENGAN KOVARIABEL GAYA BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA siswa antara sebelum dan setelah dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk, (2) perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA siswa antara sebelum dan setelah dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk setelah variabel gaya belajar dikendalikan, dan (3) kontribusi yang signifikan kovariabel gaya belajar terhadap prestasi belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-exsperiment, dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kelas V SD No. 4 Banyuasri berjumlah 35 orang. Dalam penelitian ini teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan populasi adalah sensus study, yang berati melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas V SD No. 4 Banyuasri. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah pretasi belajar IPA siswa yang dikumpulkan dengan tes prestasi belajar IPA dalam bentuk pilihan ganda dan intrumen tes gaya belajar berbentuk gambar. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik dekriptif dan ANAKOVA. Hasil penelitian hipotesis pertama menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA antara sebelum dan setelah dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk (Fhitung = 284,034 > Ftabel 3,30. Hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA siswa setelah dibelajarkan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk setelah variabel gaya belajar dikendalikan (Fhitung = 453,009 > Ftabel 3,30). Hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan terdapat kontribusi gaya belajar pada data prestasi belajar IPA siswa (Rhitung = 0,607 > Rtabel = 0,344). Rata-rata nilai siswa setelah dibelajarkan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk adalah 86,87 yang tergolong pada kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan rata-rata nilai siswa sebelum dibelajarkan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk adalah 60,61 yang tergolong pada kategori cukup.

This research aims to determine (1) the significant difference of science learning achievement before and after they are with scientific approach aided products assessment, (2) significant difference of science learning achievement before and after they are taught by using scientific approach aided product assessment after the variable of learning style is controlled, and (3) significant contribution of style toward science learning achievement. This kind of research is pre-exsperiment, that uses one group pretest posttest design design. The population of is research are all students in fifth grade V SD No. 4 Banyuasri that consists of 33 students. In this research the technique is used to determine the population is census study, it means it involves all students in five grade of SD No. 4 Banyuasri. The data that are acquired in this research are student’s achievement in the is science subjek that are collected through science learning achievement test are using optional and instrument learning style test with picture. Data analysis uses descriptive statistic and ANACOVA. First hypothesis research result shows there is significant difference in science learning achievement before and after the students are taught by using scientific approach aided product assessment (Fcount = 284.034> Ftable 3.30. Second hypothesis shows that there is significant difference of student science learning achievement after use scientic approach aided product assessment after the variabel of learning style is controlled (Fcount = 453.009> Ftable 3.30). Third hypothesis shows that there is contribution of learning style on the data of student science learning achievement (rhitung = 0.607> rtable = 0.344). The average student’s score after they are taught by using scientific approach aided product assessment is 86.87 that category sed into very high, mean while the averageof students score before they are taught by using a scientific approach aided product assessment is 60.61 that categorised into sufficient category.
