PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN ASESMEN PRODUK TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPA DENGAN KOVARIABEL GAYA BELAJAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan prestasi belajar IPA siswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk, (2) perbedaan prestasi belajar IPA siswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk, setelah variabel gaya belajar diekendalikan, dan (3) kontribusi kovariabel gaya belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Kampung Baru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 4 Kampung Baru tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 45 orang. Sampel penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Kampung Baru yang dipilih dengan teknik sensus study. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah tes prestasi belajar IPA dan tes Gaya Belajar. Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA siswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk (Fhitung=856,717 > Ftabel=4,08), (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA siswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk setelah gaya belajar dikendalikan (Fhitung=909,227 > Ftabel=4,08), dan (3) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan kovariabel gaya belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA siswa (Fhitung=0,623 > Ftabel=0,294).Kata Kunci : Pendekatan saintifik berbantuan asesmen produk, prestasi belajar IPA, gaya belajar
This study aims to determine (1) differences in students learning achievement IPA after learned by a scientific approach aided product assessment, (2) differences in students learning achievement IPA after learned by a scientific approach aided product assessment, once the variable controled learning styles, and (3 ) contribution of covariates learning style on learning achievement in science class V students of SD Negeri 4 Kampung Baru. This research is a pre-experimental study. The study population was all students in grade V in SD Negeri 4 Kampung Baru year 2011/2012, amounting to 45 people. This research sample that is the entire fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Kampung Baru chosen to study census techniques. The instrument used in this study is science learning achievement test and test Learning Styles. Analysis were using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the analysis of data, obtained the following results. (1) there is a significant difference after the students 'learning achievement IPA learned by using a scientific approach assisted assessment of products (F count = 856.717 > Ftabel = 4.08), (2) there is a significant difference in students' learning achievement IPA after learned by using scientific approach aided assessment of the product after learning styles controlled (Fhitung = 909.227> Ftabel = 4.08), (3) there is a significant contribution covariates learning styles on students' learning achievement IPA (Fhitung = 0.623> Ftabel = 0.294).
