PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF JIGSAW BERBANTUAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw berbantuan mind mapping dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Buleleng, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 8 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas V SD N 4 Banyuning dengan jumlah siswa 23 orang dan kelas V SD N 5 Banyuning dengan jumlah siswa 26 orang, yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini yaitu tes hasil belajar IPS. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t sample independent). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan mind mapping dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 5,98 dan ttab = 2,021. Artinya, thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran Kooperatif Jigsaw berbantuan mind mapping berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Buleleng, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : model kooperatif tipe jigsaw, mind mapping, hasil belajar
The aims of the research is determine the differences of the social learning result among students who learnt by using cooperative jigsaw learning with mind mapping and students who learnt by using conventional teaching in fifth grade elementary school students in cluster I Buleleng district, Buleleng regency, in 2014/2015 school year. The research was quasi experiment with post test only control group design. The population was fifth grade in cluster I Buleleng district, in 2014/2015 school year which consists of 8 classes. The sample of this research were fifth grade students in SD N 4 Banyuning which consisted of 23 students and fifth grade students in SD N 5 Banyuning which consisted of 26 students, involved by random sampling technique. The instrument of this research is test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistic (t-test). The result of the analyses showed that there were differences of the science learning result among students who learnt by using cooperative jigsaw learning with mind mapping and students who learnt by using conventional teaching, with the value of tcount = 5,98 and ttabel = 2,021. That’s mean tcount greater than ttable (tcount > ttable). Based on the result, can be concluded that cooperative jigsaw learning with mind mapping influence the social learning result in fifth grade cluster I Buleleng distric, in 2014/2015 school year.
