ABSTRACT This research aimed at finding out the difference of the science learning result of the students who learnt through TGT with hidden chart media and ones who learnt through the conventional method. This research was quasi-experimental, by using non equivalent post test only with control group design. The sample was 20 students of the fourth grade of SD 4 Sukasada as the experiment group and 19 students of SD 3 Sukasada as the control group, which were chosen through random sampling technique. The result of the research shows that there is a difference between the result of science learning of the students who learnt through TGT with hidden chart media and ones through the conventional model, with t-distributions 2.04 > t-table 2.02 (with significance level of 5%). This shows that the TGT with hidden chart media has significance effect on science learning result if it is compared with the ones who used the conventional learning model.
keyword : TGT learning model, hidden chart media, learning result.
