PENGARUH STRATEGI TIRU OLAH DAN KEMBANGKAN (TOK) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS CERITA PENDEK PADA SISWA KELAS V SEMESTER GANJIL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014 DI SD DESA BENGKALA KECAMATAN KUBUTAMBAHAN KABUPATEN BULELENG

Permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas V di SD Bengkala menjadi masalah yang utama penelitian ini. Indikasi rendahnya kemampuan menulis cerpen dibuktikan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya minat siswa menulis sangat rendah. Hal ini diketahui dari nilai rata- rata ulangan semester 75 sedangkan KKM yang ditetapkan sekolah adalah 76. Kondisi tersebut terjadi karena guru pengajar khususnya Bahasa Indonesia masih menggunakan strategi yang kurang kreatif dan inovatif untuk membangun minat siswa dalam kegiatan menulis cerpen. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) deskripsi kemampuan menulis cerpen kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan strategi mengulang (rehearsal strategies). (2) deskripsi kemampuan menulis cerpen kelompok eksperimen dengan strategi Tiru Olah Kembangkan (TOK). (3) pengaruh yang signifikan strategi TOK pada kemampuan menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas V semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di SD desa Bengkala kecamatan Kubutambahan kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non-equivalent post test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V di SD No. 1 Bengkala yang berjumlah 78 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas V SD No. 1 Bengkala yang berjumlah 39 orang dan kelas V SD No. 2 Bengkala yang berjumlah 39 orang. Data kemampuan menulis cerpen dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi berupa rubrik penilaian. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t polled varians. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan (1) Mean (M) rata- rata siswa pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 60,82 berada pada kategori cukup. (2) Mean (M) rata- rata siswa pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 82,65 berada pada kategori sangat baik. (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan menulis cerpen menggunakan strategi TOK pada siswa kelas V semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di SD desa Bengkala kecamatan Kubutambahan kabupaten Buleleng (thitung = 12,39 > ttabel = 1,6) pada taraf signifikansi 5%.Kata Kunci : strategi TOK, strategi mengulang, kemampuan menulis cerpen
The students’ low ability in science to write short stories in class V in SD Bengkala become a major issue in this study. An indication of the low ability to write short stories evidenced by several factors, including the interests of students to write a very low then seen from the semester test scores 75 while KKM specified school is 76. The low condition, presumably because Indonesian teacher educators in particular are still using strategies that are less creative and innovative ways to build student interest in the activities of writing short stories. Therefore, this study aimed to determine (1) a description of the control group the ability to write short stories using the repeat strategy (rehearsal strategies). (2) a description of the experimental group the ability to write short stories with echoes Sports Develop strategies (TOK). (3) significant influence TOK strategy on the ability to write short stories in class V semester of academic year 2013/2014 in the village elementary school districts Bengkala Kubutambahan Buleleng regency. This study is a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent post test only control group design. The population in this study is a class V in SD No. 1 Bengkala which amounts to 78 people. This research sample is class V SD No. 1 Bengkala which amounts to 39 people and a class V SD No. 2 Bengkala which amounts to 39 people. Data the ability to write short stories collected using observation sheet in the form of scoring rubric. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics using t-test polled variance. Results of this study can be concluded (1) Mean (M) on average students in the control group at 60.82 in the category enough. (2) Mean (M) on average students in the experimental group amounted to 82.65 are in the very good category. (3) there is a significant influence the ability to write short stories using TOK strategies in class V semester of academic year 2013/2014 in the village elementary school districts Bengkala Kubutambahan Buleleng district (t = 12.39> table = 1.6) at a significance level of 5%.
