ANALISIS PEMAHAMAN KONSEP DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD DI GUGUS II KECAMATAN BANJAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di 3 sekolah dasar yang ada di gugus II Kecamatan Banjar yaitu SD Negeri 1 Temukus, SD Negeri 4 Temukus, dan SD Negeri 5 Temukus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dan guru SD dari masing-masing sekolah, sedangkan objek dari penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep IPA siswa. Pemahaman konsep IPA siswa dikumpulkan menggunkan tes uraian dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 10,81% peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata dari tes pemahaman konsep IPA, sebanyak 45,95% peserta didik memperoleh nilai dibawah rata-rata dan sebanyak 43,24% peserta didik memperoleh nilai diatas rata-rata. Sedangkan hasil analisis indikator menunjukkan bahwa memberi contoh merupakan indikator dengan persentase tertinggi yaitu dengan jumlah persentase 88,92% dan indikator menjelaskan merupakan indikator dengan persentase terendah dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 60,81%. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diketahui bahwa, pemahaman konsep siswa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal seperti minat siswa, kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan saat pembelajaran, fasilitas penunjang, cara mengajar guru, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan, dan kiat-kiat yang digunakan siswa untuk memudahkan dalam memahami konsep.Kata Kunci : deskriptif kualitatif, pelajaran IPA, pemahaman konsep
This study was aimed to describe the students' understanding of concepts in science lessons. This research was conducted in three primary schools in the cluster II District Banjar namely SD Negeri 1 Temukus, SD Negeri 4 Temukus, and SD Negeri 5 Temukus. The subject of this study is the fourth grade students and elementary school teachers from each school, while the object of the research is understanding the concept of science students. Students' understanding of science concepts is collected using the test descriptions and interviews. The results showed that 10.81% of students gained an average value of test understanding science concepts, as much as 45.95% of students scored below average and as much as 43.24% of students received grades above average. While the results of the analysis indicators show that gives an example of an indicator with the highest percentage with the percentage of 88.92% and an indicator to explain an indicator with the lowest percentage with the acquisition of a percentage of 60.81%. Based on interviews it is known that, understanding the concept of the student is influenced by several things such as the interest of the students, the activities carried out during the learning, supporting facilities, the way teachers teach, learning methods used, and tips that areused to facilitate students in understanding the concept.
