PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS ASESMEN PORTOPOLIO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA DAN PENGETAHUAN KONSEPTUAL SISWA PADA TEMA CITA-CITAKU KELAS IVB SD NEGERI 4 PEMECUTAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa pada tema cita-citaku kelas IVB SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portopolio dan (2) meningkatkan pengetahuan konseptual siswa pada tema cita-citaku kelas IVB SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portopolio. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan yang berjumlah 40 siswa, terdiri dari 22 putra dan 18 putri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, tes dan observasi. Tes yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil belajar IPA adalah tes objektif sedangkan pengetahuan konseptual menggunakan tes esai. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdapat tahapan-tahapan kegiatan yaitu refleksi awal, rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi atau evaluasi dan refleksi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata klasikal pada tahap observasi awal untuk hasil belajar IPA sebesar 64 dan pengetahuan konseptual sebesar 62,75 yang sama-sama berada pada kriteria rendah. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar IPA sebesar 73,00 dan pengetahuan konseptual sebesar 71,05. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar IPA sebesar 9% dan pengetahuan konseptual sebesar 8,30% yang sama-sama berada pada kriteria sedang. Pada siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar IPA sebesar 83,00 dan pengetahuan konseptual sebesar 80,20. Terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu untuk hasil belajar IPA sebesar 10% dan pengetahuan konseptual sebesar 9,15% yang sama-sama berada pada kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dan pengetahuan konseptual siswa pada tema cita-citaku kelas IVB SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara Kota Denpasar Provinsi BaliKata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portopolio, hasil belajar IPA dan pengetahuan konseptual
This study aims to (1) improve learning outcomes of science students on the theme of cita-citaku grade IVB of SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan through the application of scientifically based approach to portfolio assessment and (2) improve student’s conceptual knowledge in cita-citaku theme IVB of SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan through the application of scientific approach to portfolio-based assessment. The subjects of this study were grade IVB students of SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan totaling 40 students, consisting of 22 boys and 18 girls. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, test and observation. The test results are used to collect data to learn science is an objective test while conceptual knowledge is using essay test. Classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle have stages of activity that initial reflection, action plan, action, observation or evaluation and reflection. Data analysis was performed with descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the average classical at the stage of preliminary observations for science learning outcomes by 64 and conceptual knowledge by 62,75 that both are at low criteria. In the first cycle an average of Science learning outcomes by 73,00 and conceptual knowledge by 71,05. An increase of Science learning outcomes by 9% and conceptual knowledge by 8,30% equally be at average criteria. In the second cycle an average of Science learning outcomes by 83,00 and conceptual knowledge by 80,20. There was an increase from the first cycle to the second cycle is for science learning outcomes by 10% and amounted to 9,15% of conceptual knowledge that both are at the high criteria. It can be concluded that the scientific approach to portfolio-based assessment to improve Science learning outcomes and conceptual knowledge of students on the theme of cita-citaku grade IVB of SD Negeri 4 Pemecutan District of North Denpasar, Denpasar, Bali
