Pengaruh Pendekatan Saintifik dengan Penilaian Unjuk Kerja Terhadap Keterampilan Membaca Prosa di Kelas 4 SD Gugus 2 Kecamatan Sukasada Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan membaca prosa antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvensional pada siswa kelas 4 di gugus 2 kecamatan Sukasada. Penelitian ini tergolong eksperimen semu (kuasi eksperimental), dengan desain nonequivalent posstest control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 4 SD N 1 Gitgit berjumlah 23 orang dan siswa kelas 4 SD N 2 Gitgit berjumlah 28 orang yang diambil secara acak (random). Data keterampilan membaca prosa siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi menggunakan skala rating. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (Uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan membaca prosa antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvensional. Berdasarkan tabel hasil perhitungan uji-t di atas,diperoleh thit sebesar 7,56. Sedangkan, ttab dengan db=49 dan taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 2,000. Hal ini dapat diartikan, thit lebih besar dari ttab sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan membaca prosa siswa SD kelas 4 gugus 2 kecamatan SukasadaKata Kunci : keterampilan membaca prosa, pendekatan saintifik.
This study aims to determin differences in learning outcomes prose reading skills among groups of students that learned with the scientific approach and the students that learned with conventional approaches to grade 4 group 2 subdistrict Sukasada. Is classified as quasi-experimental study, with design nonequivalent posstest control group design. The sample was 4th grade students at SD N 1 Gitgit 23 people and students 4th grade SD N 2 Gitgit totaling 28 people taken at random. Data reading skills student in Indonesian subjets were collected through observation techniques using a rating scale. The data obtained were analyze using descriptive and inferensial statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed that there are significant differences in prose reading skills among students who learn the scientific approach and the students who studied with conventional approaches. Based on the calculation above t-test, obtainable thit is 7,56. while, ttab with db=49 and significance level 5% is 2,000. This can be interpreted, thit greater than ttab so that H0 rejected and H1be accepted. Based on this it can be concluded that the effect on the scientific approach to prose reading skills of elementary school students grade 4 group 2 subdistrict Sukasada.
