PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PROYEK TERHADAP PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA DI GUGUS III DESA MAMBANG

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika antara kelompok siswa yang belajar mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus III Desa Mambang Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur, Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan Post-test Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SD di Gugus III Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur, Kabupaten Tabanan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 6 kelas dengan siswa 132 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas IV SD No. 1 Mambang dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang dan kelas IV SD No. 2 Bantas dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang, yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini yaitu tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dalam dua tahap, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 4,065 dan ttab sebesar 2,21. Artinya, thitung lebih besar dari ttab. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus III Desa Mambang Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur, Kabupaten Tabanan.Kata Kunci : saintifik, pemecahan masalah, konvensional
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a significant difference in students problem-solving abilities in mathematics between groups of students who are learning to follow scientific learning and a group of students who take the conventional learning in the Elementary School IV grade students in Cluster III Mambang Village District of Selemadeg Timur, Tabanan Regency. This study is a quasi experimental design with post-test only group control design. Population of the study was the IV grade elementary school in Cluster III Mambang Village Districts of Selemadeg Timur Tabanan Regency in the academic year 2014/2015. That consists of 6 classes with the total of 132 students. This research sample is class IV SD No. 1 Mambang the number of students 22 and class IV SD No. 2 Bantas the number of students 20 people which is determined by simple random sampling technique. Instrument on this research that tests problem solving abilities. The data obtained were analyzed in two stages: analysis of descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed that there are significant differences between the groups problem-solving ability are teaching students in the scientific approach and a group of students that learned with conventional learning. With the tcount of 4,065 and ttab of 2.21 means tcount is greater than ttab. Based on these results, it can be said that there is signifikan it could be argued that there is significant influence of scientific learning approach to problrm solving ability of students in the IV grade group III Mambang village district of selemadeg timur tabanan regency.
