PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI DENGAN PEMANFAATAN MEDIA BATANG CUISENAIRE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS III

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD No. 6 Selat terhadap tindakan Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi dengan Pemanfaatan Media Batang Cuisenaire pada mata pelajaran Matematika Kelas III semester I SD No. 6 Selat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD No. 6 Selat tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 22 orang yang terdiri dari 11 orang putra dan 11 orang putri. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, dan refleksi data tentang hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari analisis data yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan Penerapan Metode Demontrasi dengan Pemanfaatan Media Batang Cuisenaire dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD No. 6 Selat. Rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I mencapai 66 dan pada siklus II mencapai 76, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10 poin, ketuntasan belajar sebelum tahap penelitian sebesar 52% meningkat setelah penerapan siklus I menjadi 85% ini berarti mengalami peningkatan sebesar 33%, dari siklus I ke siklus II ketuntasan belajar mencapai 100% ini berarti mengalami peningkatan 15%.Kata Kunci : metode demonstrasi, batang cuisenaire, hasil belajar
This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes Class III SD No. 6 Strait to the action Implementation Method Demonstration by Utilization of Media Trunk Cuisenaire in Mathematics Class III first semester SD No. 6 Strait. The subjects were students of class III SD No. 6 strait academic year 2014/2015 as many as 22 people consisting of 11 male students and 11 female students. This classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection data about student learning outcomes were collected by the method of achievement test. Data were analyzed descriptively. From the data analysis it can be concluded that the Application Method Demonstrations with Cuisenaire Rods Media Utilization can improve student learning outcomes Class III SD No. 6 Strait. The average results of learning in the first cycle reached 66 and the second cycle reached 76, an increase of 10 points, mastery learning before the research phase of 52% increase after the implementation of the first cycle to 85% this means an increase of 33%, from the first cycle the second cycle to achieve 100% completeness study this means an increase of 15%.
