PENGARUH PENDEKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD SEMESTER GANJIL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014 DI GUGUS VII KECAMATAN SUKASADA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model konvensional pada siswa kelas V tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di Gugus VII Kecamatan Sukasada. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas V semester ganjil di Gugus VII Kecamatan Sukasada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 148 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD No. 2 Selat yang berjumlah 35 orang dan siswa kelas V SD No. 3 Selat yang berjumlah 35 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji–t). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains dengan yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dilihat dari hasil uji–t diperoleh thitung = 6,60 dan ttabel (db =68 pada taraf signifikansi 5%) = 1,980. Hal ini berarti bahwa thitung > ttabel, sedangkan hasil perhitungan rata–rata hasil belajar IPA yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains adalah 21,40 lebih besar dibandingkan dengan yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional adalah 14,14, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di Gugus VII Kecamatan Sukasada.Kata Kunci : pendekatan keterampilan proses, hasil belajar IPA
This research has purpose to know the differences of the science study result between students who join learning through science skills approach with students who join learning through conventional method in 5th grade student 2013/2014 at cluster number 7 Sukasada subdistrict. The type of this research is apparent experiment research. The population of this research is 5th grade student in uneven semester at cluster number 7 Sukasada subdistrict 2013/2014 which is 148 people. The sample of this research is 5th grade student of elementary school number 2 Selat which is 35 people and 5th grade student of elementary school number 3 Selat which is 35 people. The data of the study result is collected by multiple choice test. The data is analyzed by descriptive statistic analysis and inferential analysis (t- test). The result of this research indicates that there is the differencebetween students who join learning through science skills approach with students who join learning through conventional method. It is seen from the result of t-test, while the average of science which teach through science skills approach is 21,40 more than the result of science study learning through conventional method which is 14,14, then, it can be concluded that the science skills approach influences to the result of science study in 5th grade 2013/2014 at cluster number 7 Sukasada cluster.
