PENGARUH PENDEKATAN STARTER EKSPERIMEN (PSE) DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA DI KELAS V SD GUGUS I KECAMATAN SAWAN KABUPATEN BULELENG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan Pendekatan Starter Eksperimen (PSE) dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di Gugus I Kecamatan Sawan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen menggunakan desain non equivalent post–test only control group design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 36 orang siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sekumpul sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 34 orang siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Bebetin sebagai kelompok kontrol yang dipilih dengan sistem random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode tes. Istrumen yang digunakan berupa pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik infrensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan PSE dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V di Gugus I Kecamatan Sawan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016Kata Kunci : pendekatan starter eksperimen, hasil belajar matematika
The purposes of this research were to know the significant differences between students’ result in mathematics who learnt by starter experiment approach and students’ who learnt using conventional learning of class V in elementary school cluster I districts of Sawan, in academic year 2014/2015. The type of this research was a quasi experiment by using non equivalent post–test only control group design. The sample of this study was grade five of SD Negeri 1 Sekumpul consisted of 36 students as an experimental group and 34 students grade five of Negeri 3 Bebetin as a control group selected through random sampling method. Data collected by using multiple choice. Then, data analysis used was descriptive statistic and inferential statistic (t-test). The result of this research found that there is a significant difference in mathematics between students’ who learnt by starter experiment approach and students’ who learnt using conventional learning in class five in elementary school cluster I districts of Sawan in academic year 2015/2016.
