PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE EXAMPLE NON EXAMPLE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA SISWA

Penelitain ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas IV semester genap SD Negeri 1 Penarukan Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Penarukan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dengan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep. Data yang diperoleh dari tes dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase tingkat ketuntasan belajar yang selanjutnya dikonversikan ke dalam tingkat pemahaman konsep IPA berdasarkan PAP skala 5. Hal tersebut terlihat dari peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 71,84% atau berada pada kategori cukup pada siklus I, menjadi 81,36% atau berada pada kategori baik pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 9,52%.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran kooperatif, example non example
This study was aimed at finding out the increase the understanding of concept science subject fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Penarukan District of Buleleng academic year 2015 / 2016 after applied by cooperative learning of type example the non example. This research type is research of class action which is executed in two cycle. This research subject is fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Penarukan academic year 2015 / 2016. Method data collecting use method of tes with instrument of tes the understanding of concept. Obtained data of tes analysed by using formula percentage of complete storey level learn is later on converted to in storey level of is understanding of concept science pursuant to PAP scale 5. The mentioned seen from complete improvement learn student from 71,84% or reside in at category enough at cycle of I, becoming 81,36% or reside in at good category at cycle of II. Result of research indicate that applying of cooperative learning of type example the non example can improve the understanding of concept science of cycle I to cycle II equal to 9,52%.
