PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN POLYA BERBANTUAN MEDIA BY DESIGN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat tentang rendahnya hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas V SD di Gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Rendahnya hasil belajar Matematika siswa dilihat dari nilai rata-rata UAS siswa yaitu 65,33. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah, (1) untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar Matematika sesudah implementasi model pembelajaran Polya berbantuan media by design pada siswa kelompok eksperimen, (2) untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar Matematika sesudah implementasi pembelajaran selain model pembelajaran Polya berbantuan media by design pada siswa kelompok kontrol, (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh model pembelajaran Polya berbantuan media by design terhadap hasil belajar Matematika pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini tergolong quasi experiment dengan rancangan post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD di Gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 33 siswa kelas V SDN 1 Kaliuntu sebagai kelompok kontrol dan 20 siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kaliuntu sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes hasil belajar Matematika. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) skor rata-rata hasil belajar Matematika pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 24,83 dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) skor rata-rata hasil belajar Matematika pada kelompok kontrol adalah 20,27 dengan kategori baik, (3) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Polya berbantuan media by design terhadap hasil belajar Matematika pada siswa kelas V di Gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 (sig=4,14 > 2,00).

This research raised about the poor results of learning Mathematics Elementary fifth grade students in Cluster X Village Kaliuntu District of Buleleng in the academic year 2015/2016. The low yield of students studying Maths seen from the average value of UAS students is 65.33. The purpose of this research is, (1) to describe the learning after implementation of learning Mathematics learning model Polya media aided by design in the experimental group, (2) to describe the results after implementation of learning mathematics learning as learning models aided Polya media by design in the control group, (3) as well as to determine the effect of Polya learning model aided media by design on learning result in Maths in fifth grade elementary school in Cluster X Kaliuntu Village Buleleng District the academic year 2015/2016. This research is classified as quasi experiment with the design of the post-test only control group design. The study population were students of class V SD in Cluster X Village Kaliuntu District of Buleleng in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample was 33 students of class V SDN 1 Kaliuntu as the control group and 20 students of class V SDN 2 Kaliuntu as the experimental group were selected by random sampling technique. The research instrument is a test result of learning Mathematics. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. The results showed that, (1) the average score Math learning outcomes in the experimental group was 24.83 with excellent category, (2) the average score Math learning outcomes in the control group was 20.27 to the good category, (3 ) there are significant learning model Polya media aided by design to the learning outcomes of Mathematics in grade V in Cluster X Village Kaliuntu Buleleng Subdistrict in the academic year 2015/2016 (sig = 4.14> 2.00).
