PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN POGIL DAN MINAT BELAJAR TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran POGIL terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA dengan mengontrol minat belajar siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus VI Kecamatan Sukasada. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian quasi experiment dengan rancangan Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri di gugus VI Kecamatan Sukasada tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 243 siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Panji Anom dan SDN 4 Panji Anom yang berjumlah 64 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep IPA dan kuesioner minat belajar. Data analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, data menggunakan analisis statistik ANAKOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pemahaman konsep IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran POGIL dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional (Sig. = 0,001). (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pemahaman konsep IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran POGIL dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional setelah mengontrol minat belajar (Sig. = 0,001). (3) terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara minat belajar dengan pemahaman konsep IPA (Sig. = 0,001). Jadi, terdapat pengaruh model POGIL setelah minat belajar siswa dikontrol terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA.Kata Kunci : model POGIL, pemahaman konsep IPA, minat belajar
This research aimed to determine the effect of of POGIL learning model in terms of understanding on science concepts by controlling the interest in student learning in fourth grade elementary school in Cluster VI Sukasada District . This research is classified as quasi experiment with the design of the post-test only control group design. The population of the research is a fourt grade students in Cluster VI Elementary School Sukasada District 2015/2016 school year totaling 243 student. Samples were students of fourt grade elementary school N 1 Panji Anom and elementary school N 4 Panji Anom totaling 64 students selected by simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a test of understanding science concepts and interest in learning questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Anova one lanes and the product moment correlation. The results showed (1) there are significant differences between the groups understanding science concepts of students that learned with POGIL learning model and student groups that learned with conventional learning models (sig. = 0,001). (2) there are significant differences between the groups understanding science concepts of students that learned with POGIL learning model and student groups that learned with conventional learning models after controlling interest in learning (sig. = 0,001). (3) there is a significant correlation between interest in learning and understanding science concepts (sig. = 0,001). So, there is influence of POGIL model after controlling the interest in student learning toward understanding on science concepts.d understanding on science concepts.
