PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS ASESMEN PORTOFOLIO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Banyuasri melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Banyuasri tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 29 siswa terdiri dari 8 siswa laki-laki dan 21 siswa perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data hasil belajar IPA adalah dengan metode tes. Data hasil belajar IPA yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Nilai akhir hasil belajar IPA siswa diperoleh dengan menjumlahkan nilai evaluasi setiap pertemuan, nilai tugas setiap pertemuan, dan nilai tes akhir siklus yang telah diberikan bobot masing-masing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Banyuasri tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yaitu dapat dilihat pada hasil peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yang semula memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 72,32 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi rata-rata 81,82 pada siklus II.

Abstract This study was aimed to improve learning outcomes of science of the fourth grade elementary students of SDN 4 Banyuasri by applying scientific approach based on portofolio assessment. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. In each cycle consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects of this study were students in the fourth grade elementary students of SDN 4 Banyuasri in the academic year of 2015/2016 totaling 29 students consisting of 8 male students and 21 female students. The methods used in data collection were the science learning outcomes with test method. The collected data in the science learning outcomes were analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The final value of students science learning outcomes obtained by adding up the value of evaluation of each meeting, the value of the task of each meeting, and the value of the final test cycle that has been given the weight of each. The results of study showed that the application of scientific approach based on portofolio assessment can improve the science learning outcomes in the fourth grade of SDN 4 Banyuasri in the academic year of 2015/2016 which can be seen in the results of an increase from cycle I to cycle II originally gained an average of 72.32 in cycle I increased to an average of 81.82 in cycle II.
