PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN MODEL PBL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PENGETAHUAN IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar melalui penerapan Pendekatan Saintifik berbantuan Model Problem Based Learning siswa kelas IV SD No. 1 Dalung, Kuta Utara, Badung Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 dan (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA melalui penerapan Pendekatan Saintifik berbantuan Model Problem Based Learning siswa kelas IV SD No. 1 Dalung, Kuta Utara, Badung Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD No. 1 Dalung, Badung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016, sebanyak 40 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode (1) observasi dan (2) tes. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar setelah penerapan pendekatan santifik berbantuan model problem based learning. Persentase rerata aktivitas belajar pada siklus I sebesar 68,9% berada pada kriteria cukup aktif, dan pada siklus II persentase rerata aktivitas belajar menjadi 87,1% berada pada kriteria aktif. Begitu juga dengan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA pada siklus I 79% berada pada kriteria sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikal 67,5%, dan pada siklus II persentase rerata hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA menjadi 88,8% berada pada kriteria tinggi dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87,5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan, penerapan pendekatan santifik berbantuan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA.

The purpose of this study firstly, was to improve the learning activities through the implementation of scientific approach using student problem based learning model to the fourth grade students of SD No. 1 Dalung, Kuta Utara, Badung in academic year 2015/2016 and secondly was improving the result of the study of IPA through the implementation of scientific approach using student problem based learning model to the fourth grade student of SD No. 1 Dalung, Kuta Utara, Badung in academic year 2015/2016. This study include an classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this study were the fourth grade students of SD No. 1 Dalung, Kuta Utara, Badung in academic year 2015/2016, amount to 40 students. The collecting of the data in this study was done by 2 method, they were observation and test. Data which was gained are analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis method and quantitative statistics analysis method. The result of the study showed the improvement of learning activity after the implementation of scientific approach using problem based learning model. The percentage of average learning activity in cycle I is 68,9% which meant was active criteria, and cycle II, the average percentage of learning activities become 87,1% which meant is active criteria. Same as on the result of studying IPA in cycle I, 79% on the criteria of average completeness with the classical 67,5%, and in the cycle II the average percentage of the result of studying IPA become 88,8% on the high criteria with the classical completeness 87,5%. Therefore, it can be conclude that the implementation of scientific approach using problem based learning model can improve the learning activities and the result of studying IPA knowledge.
