This research is classified as quasi experiment with the design of the post-test only control group design. The population of the research were the fifth grade students in Kaliuntu Sub District in academic year 2015/2016 totaling 113 people. Sample were students of fifth grade elementary school No 2 Kaliuntu as experiment class totaling 20 people, and elementary school No 1 Kaliuntu as control class totaling 33 people selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrument of this research is IPA learning result test with multiple choice and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Anacova one lane one covariates and with achievement motivation questionnaire. The product moment correlation. The results showed that: 1) there are significant differences between student’s learning result that learned with the guided inquiry model and student’s that learned with conventional learning (Fcount = 51,818, with sig. = 0,000 < 0,05); 2) there are significant differences between learning result that learned with guided inquiry model and student’s that learned with conventional learning after controlling learning achievement motivation (Fcount = 27,414, with sig. = 0,000 < 0,05); 3) there are significant correlation of achievement motivation to the IPA learning result (r squared = 0,4251 > rtable = 0,2284, with sig. = 0,000 < 0,05). Based on the hypothesis that do stated that there is significant influence guided inquiry model and achievement motivation toward IPA student learning.
