PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sanur, setelah diterapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament (TGT). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sanur yang berjumlah 43 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes objektif pilihan ganda untuk mengetahui penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siklus I persentase rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA sebesar 75% berada dalam kategori sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikal 62,79% sedangkan pada siklus II memperoleh persentase rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA sebesar 89% berada dalam kategori tinggi dengan ketuntasan klasikal 90,69%. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan persentase rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 14% dan ketuntasan klasikal dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 27,9%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sanur.Kata Kunci : saintifik, team games tournament, pengetahuan IPA
This study aims to improve the mastery of knowledge competencies fifth grade science students of SD Negeri 1 Sanur, after applied scientific approach based cooperative learning team games tournament (TGT). This research was classroom action research conducted in two cycles to improve the learning process. The subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sanur was numbered 43 peoples. Collecting data in this study was conducted using multiple choice objective test to determine competency mastery of knowledge Science. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research is showing that an increase of knowledge mastery of competencies science in the first cycle the average percentage of knowledge mastery of competencies Science by 75% under the category of middle with classical completeness 62,79% while in the second cycle obtains the mean percentage science knowledge mastery of competencies average by 89% under the category of high with 90,69% classical completeness. This shows an increase in the average percentage of mastery of competencies cycle of 14% and knowledge of Science classical completeness of the first cycle to the second cycle of 27,9%. Based on these results, it is conclud that the application of a scientific approach based cooperative learning Team Games Tournament (TGT) may improve the mastery of knowledge competencies of fifth grade science students of SD Negeri 1 Sanur.
