PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN MEDIA GRAFIS DALAM PERMAINAN BAHASA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Keterampilan Membaca Permulaan pada siswa kelas I SDN 12 Padang Sambian melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media grafis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SDN 12 Padang Sambian yang berjumlah 35 orang, terdiri dari 17 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini dirancang dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Data keterampilan membaca permulaan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes perbuatan, selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuanitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: pada siklus I persentase rata-rata hasil keterampilan membaca permulaan sebesar 73,94% dengan kategori cukup baik; pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 83,2% dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media grafis dalam permainan bahasa dapat meningkatakan hasil belajar keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN 12 Padang Sambian.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci: pendekatan saintifik, media grafis, keterampilan membaca permulaan
This study aimed improving the result of the study knowledge early reading skills at the first students of SDN 12 padang Sambian through the application of scientific approach with graphic media. The subject of the first grade student of SDN 12 Padang Sambian which amounts to 35 students, consists of 17 men and 18 female. The kind of this research is class action research with two cycles.each cycle consisting of step plan, implementation, action, observation or evaluation and reflection. The data early reading skills collected using test method works, The data was analyzed by using method of descriptive analysis qualitative and quantitative. The results showed : in cycle I average percentage results early reading skills was 73,94% with the category pretty good; and the cycle II increased to 83,2% with the category good. Based on this research can be concluded that the application of scientific approach with graphic media can improve the result of the study of knowledge early reading skills of first grade student of SDN 12 Padang Sambian.
