PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI DAPAT MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas IVB semester II di SD Negeri 11 Pemecutan Denpasar setelah diterapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis pembelajaran inkuiri. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVB sebanyak 44 orang siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan dan 1 kali tes. Data mengenai aktivitas belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan data tentang penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes objektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini dikonversikan ke dalam PAP skala 5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tahap siklus I skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar IPA siswa yaitu 67,72 dan skor rata-rata persen aktivitas belajar IPA siswa adalah 67,72% yang berada pada kategori cukup aktif. Sedangkan persentase rata-rata skor penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa pada siklus I yaitu 69% dan ketuntasan klaksikal adalah 36,36% yang berada pada kategori sedang. Pada siklus II skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa adalah 81,70 dengan rata-rata persen 81,70%yang berada pada kategori aktif. Sedangkan untuk penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA, pada siklus II adalah 87% dan ketuntasan klasikal adalah 90,90% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis pembelajaran Inkuiri berbantuan lingkungan sekolah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas IVB SDN 11 Pemecutan tahun ajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : Saintifik, Inkuiri, aktivitas, Pengetahuan IPA.
This study aims to increase the activity of learning and mastery of competencies knowledge IVB grade science students in the second semester of State Elementary School 11 Pemecutan Denpasar after applied scientific approach based inquiry learning. This research is a classroom action research subject is class IVB as many as 44 students. This study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisting of 2 meetings and 1 time test. Data on students' learning activities are collected by using observation and data sheets on the mastery of knowledge competency Natural Sciences students collected using objective tests. This study uses data analysis techniques are descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this evaluation criterion is converted into a scale of 5. The results show on the stage of the first cycle an average score of Natural Sciences learning activities of students is 67.72 and the average score per cent of learning activities of students of Natural Sciences is 67.72% which in the category quite active. While the average percentage score of knowledge mastery of competencies Natural Sciences students in the first cycle is 69% and the thoroughness klaksikal is 36.36% which is the medium category. In the second cycle, the average score of student activity is 81.70 percent with an average of 81.70%, which are in the active category. As for competence mastery of knowledge of Natural Sciences, the second cycle was 87% and 90.90% classical completeness is located in the high category. It shows that the application of the scientific approach to inquiry-based learning environment aided schools can increase the activity of knowledge and mastery of competencies Natural Sciences IVB grade students of State Elementary School 11 Pemecutan the academic year 2015/2016
