PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PENILAIAN PORTOFOLIO DAPAT MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH DAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS III

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IIIC SDN 1 Ubud (2) meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan matematika melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis penilaian portofolio. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IIIC SDN 1 Ubud sebanyak 38 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah.Kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan matematika untuk pra siklus diperoleh sebesar 2,40(berada pada predikat B-). Setelah penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis penilaian portofolio, rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IIIC SDN 1 Ubud mencapai 2,46(berada pada predikat B-) pada siklus I dan 3,03 (berada pada predikat B+) pada siklus II. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II sebanyak 0,57. Rata-rata hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan mencapai 2,72(berada pada predikat B) pada siklus I dan 3,1 (berada pada predikat B+). Penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan matematika tema Energi dan Perubahannya meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II sebanyak 0,37. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan, penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis penilaian portofolio dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan matematika siswa kelas IIIC SDN 1 Ubud.

This research aimed to (1) enhance the problem solving IIIC grade students at SDN 1 Ubud (2) increase the competence mastery of mathematical knowledge through the application of scientifically based approach to portfolio assessment. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Subjects were students in grade IIIC SDN 1 Ubud many as 38 students. Collecting data in this reseach using the test results to learn and test the knowledge competency problem-solving abilities. Then the data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis method. The average value of learning outcomes competences for pre-cycle mathematical knowledge obtained at 2.40 (currently on predicate B-). After implementation of a scientific approach based portfolio assessment, the average problem-solving abilities IIIC grade students at SDN 1 Ubud reached 2.46 (currently on predicate B-) in the first cycle and 3.03 (currently on predicate B +) in the second cycle. Problem solving skills increased from the first cycle to the second cycle as much as 0.57. The average result of learning competencies of knowledge reached 2.73 (currently on predicate B) in the first cycle and 3.1 (currently on predicate B +). Competency mastery of mathematical knowledge in the theme of Energy and its amendment increases from the first cycle to the second cycle as much as 0.37. Based on the results of this study be concluded, the application of a scientific approach based portfolio assessment can enhance the problem solving competence and mastery of mathematical knowledge IIIC grade students at SDN 1 Ubud.
