PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tukadsumaga setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tukadsumaga. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan tes. Data yang didapatkan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis data pada siklus I, tingkat aktivitas siswa mencapai 70,64%, setelah dikonversikan ke dalam PAP aktivitas, tergolong kategori cukup aktif. Tingkat hasil belajar IPA siswa mencapai 74,97%, setelah dikonversikan ke dalam PAP hasil belajar, tergolong kategori cukup baik. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas sebesar 13,22% dan hasil belajar IPA sebesar 9,90%. Tingkat aktivitas siswa mencapai 83,86%, tergolong katagori aktif. Tingkat hasil belajar IPA siswa mencapai 84,87%, tergolong katagori baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Tukadsumaga tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar IPA, inkuiri terbimbing
This study was aimed at finding out an increase in activity and science learning achievement of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tukadsumaga after implementing guided inquiry learning model. This was a classroom action research with two cycles. The subjects were the fifth grade students of SD 2 Tukadsumaga. The data were collected by observation and test. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive quantitative statistical analysis. From the analysis in cycle I it was found that the level of student activity was 70,64%, falling into category active enough, and after being converted into criterion reference evaluation, the learning achievement falls into category good enough. The result of the study in cycle II showed that there was 13,22% increase in activity and the science learning achievement was 84.87%, falling into category active. The results of this study showed that the implementation of guided inquiry learning model can increase the fifth grade students’ science learning achievement in SD Negeri 2 Tukadsumaga in the academic year 2015/2016.
