PENERAPAN STRATEGI THINK TALK WRITE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan (1) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran think talk write; dan (2) dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi keterampilan berbicara tema cita-citaku melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran think talk write. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA SDN 5 Sumerta yang berjumlah 32 orang. Data kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan kompetensi keterampilan berbicara siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes yaitu tes tulis dan tes lisan. Metode analisis datanya menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan persentase rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75,44% menjadi 85,28% pada siklus II. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dari siklus I ke siklus II mencapai 9,84%. Sedangkan terjadi peningkatan persentase rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi keterampilan berbicara siswa pada siklus I sebesar 74,19% menjadi 82,78% pada siklus II. Peningkatan penguasaan kompetensi keterampilan berbicara dari siklus I ke siklus II mencapai 8,59%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa, penerapan strategi pembelajaran think talk write dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan kompetensi keterampilan berbicara tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IVA SDN 5 Sumerta.

This classroom action research aimed (1) to improvement of the creative thinking abilities through the application of think talk write learning strategy and (2) can improvement of mastery of competencies speaking skills theme cita-citaku through the application of think talk write learning strategy. Type of this study was class action research that was carried out in two cycles. Subjects of this study were students in the grade IVA at SDN 5 Sumerta amounting to of 32 people. The data of creative thinking abilities and mastery of competencies students' speaking skills were collected using the test method is written tests and oral tests. The methods of data analysis were using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. Result of this study showed an increase in the average percentage of creative thinking abilities of students in the first cycle of 75.44% to 85.28% in the second cycle. The increase creative thinking abilities from the first cycle to the second cycle with a total 9.84%. While increased the average percentage of students' speaking skills mastery of competencies in the first cycle of 74.19% to 82.78% in the second cycle. The increase mastery of competencies speaking skills from the first cycle to the second cycle with a total 8.59%. Based on these results we can conclude that the application of think talk write learning strategy could improve creative thinking abilities and mastery of competencies speaking skills theme cita-citaku of students in the grade IVA at SDN 5 Sumerta.
