PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SAINS TEKNOLOGI MASYARAKAT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan model pembelajaran sains teknologi masyarakat siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian Tahun ajaran 2015/2016, sebanyak 40 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 25 orang laki-laki dan 15 orang perempuan. Pengumpulan data penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes berbentuk objektif pilihan ganda biasa yang berjumlah 30 soal. Selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil data penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan perolehan ketuntasan belajar penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA secara klasikal sebesar 47,5% memperoleh nilai antara 76- 96,6 dengan predikat (B+ sampai A), mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 80% memperoleh nilai antara 76-100 dengan predikat (B+ sampai A) dan terjadi peningkatan antara siklus I dengan siklus II sebesar 32,5%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan model pembelajaran sains teknologi masyarakat dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : saintifik, sains teknologi masyarakat, IPA
This research was done purposely to raise the competency of SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian students’ Natural Sciences (IPA) knowledge by using Community Technology Sciences teaching model supported scientific approach. The research is a Classes Actions Research (PTK) done in two action cycles. The subjects are 40 class VA students of the aforementioned school consisted of 25 male and 15 female students, Class Year of 2015/2016. Data collected through the means of multiple choice test answering method consisted of 30 question. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative,descriptive analysis method. The results of the research shows achievement in the first cycle of mastery learning knowledge learning competency and mastery in classical IPA 47,5% scored between 76 to 96,6 with predicate (B+ until A),increased in the second cycle bye 80% received grades between 76 to 100 with predicate (B+ until A) and an increase between the first cycle to the second cycle by 32,5%. Thus concluded thay the application of a scientific apporoach to science learning techonoly- aided model of society can improve the mastery the knowledge learning competency and mastery of the A class IPA 5th graders of SD 2 Negeri Padangsambian.
