PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW BERBANTUAN MEDIA LKS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya temuan berupa rendahnya penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V, melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media LKS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dan tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan. Subjek terteliti adalah siswa kelas V pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang melibatkan sebanyak 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dilakukan dengan metode tes jenis objektif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media LKS dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Ini terlihat dari peningkatan presentase rata-rata nilai penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siklus I yaitu 69,25% berada pada kreteria sedang, kemudian pada siklus II persentase rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA sebesar 82,15% berada pada kreteria tinggi. Dan untuk ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 59,37% kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 100%. Dengan demikian penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA mengalami peningkatan sebesar 40,63%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media LKS dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara.Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw, penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan, dan media LKS.
This research is background by the findings in the form of low mastery of knowledge competencies fifth grade science studentsof SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan. The aims of this resech to improve the mastery of knowledge competencies fifth grade science students, through the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw aided LKS media.Type of this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles, and each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research were conducted in SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan. The subjects of this studyis the V grade students in the academic year 2015/2016 which involved as many as 32 students. The collection of data mastering science knowledge competency test were conducted using an objective type multiple choice always. The collected data was then analyzed quantitative descriptive. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model jigsaw aided LKS media can improve their understanding of knowledge competency science in V grade in SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan Denpasar Utara district. This is evident in the increased percentage of the average value of competence mastery of knowledge IPA in the first cycle 69.25% in the criteria being, then the second cycle of the average percentage of knowledge mastery of competencies science by 82.15% on high criteria . And for classical completeness in the first cycle of 59.37% after the second cycle of 100%. Therefore the knowledge mastery of competencies IPA increased by 40.63%. It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw aided LKS media can improve their understanding of knowledge competency IPA in class fifth in SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan Denpasar Utara District.
