PENERAPAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING DALAM PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS BUDAYA PENYELIDIKAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN PENGETAHUAN IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan keaktifan siswa melalui penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dalam pendekatan saintifik berbasis budaya penyelidikan, dan (2) meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa melalui penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dalam pendekatan saintifik berbasis budaya penyelidikan. Desain penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 16 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 35 siswa. Data penelitian tentang keaktifan dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan metode tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adalah (1) peningkatan rata-rata persentase keaktifan pada siklus I sebesar 61,81% berada pada kategori kurang aktif dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 81% berada pada kategori aktif, dan (2) peningkatan rata-rata persentase penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siklus I sebesar 75,01% berada pada kriteria sedang dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 87,01% berada pada kriteria tinggi. Selain itu, peningkatan persentase ketuntasan klasikal penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siklus I sebesar 57% dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 88,57%. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dalam pendekatan saintifik berbasis budaya penyelidikan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siswa kelas V SDN 16 Pemecutan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : inkuiri terbimbing, pendekatan saintifik, budaya penyelidikan, keaktifan, kompetensi pengetahuan IPA
This research aimed were to (1) increase the activity students through application of the guide inquiry model in scientific approach based on a culture of inquiry, and (2) increase the mastery competence knowledge of science students through application of the guide inquiry model in scientific approach based on a culture of inquiry. The research design was classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Subject of the research was the fifth grade students of SDN 16 Pemecutan in academic year 2015/2016 which consisted of 35 students. The research data about the activity and mastery competence knowledge of science students were collected using observation method dan test method. The data was analyzed using an analysis method of descriptive statistic and quantitative. The result of this research shows (1) the increasing average percentage activity on the first cycle is 61,81% on less active criteria and increased at the second cycle is 81% on active criteria, and (2) the increasing average percentage mastery competence knowledge of science on the first cycle is 75,01% on medium criteria and increased at the second cycle is 87,01% on high criteria. Moreover, the increasing classical completeness mastery competence knowledge of science on the first cycle is 57% and increased at the second cycle is 88,57%. Therefore, can be concluded that the application of the guide inquiry model in scientific approach based on the culture of inquiry can increase the activity and mastery competence knowledge of science at the fifth grade students of SDN 16 Pemecutan in academic year 2015/2016.
