MODEL MIND MAPPING DALAM PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN MEDIA POWERPOINT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PENGETAHUAN IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media powerpoint pada siswa kelas VB SDN 17 Dauh Puri . Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VB SDN 17 Dauh Puri yang berjumlah 35 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes. Tes yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA adalah tes pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA setelah penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media powerpoint. Rata-rata persentase hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA meningkat dari 63,57% pada pra-siklus menjadi 79,29% pada siklus I dan pada siklus II menjadi 84,8%. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal juga turut meningkat dari 28,57% menjadi 77,14% pada siklus I dan pada siklus II mencapai angka persentase 91,42%. Dengan demikian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media powerpoint dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA.Kata Kunci : saintifik, mind mapping, powerpoint, pengetahuan IPA
The purpose of this research was to improved science knowledge learning achievement through an implementation of mind mapping learning model in scientific approach using powerpoint media at VB grade students of SDN 17 Dauh Puri. This research was a classroom action research which conducted in two cycles. Every cycle consisted of four steps. The steps were plan, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were VB grade students of SDN 17 Dauh Puri which consisted of 35 students. Data collection in this research was obtained by using learning achievement test method. Test which was used in gaining the science knowledge learning achievement data was a usual multiple choices test. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and descriptive quantitative analysis method. The result of this research shows that there is an improvement of science knowledge learning achievement after the implementation of mind mapping learning model in scientific approach using powerpoint media. The mean percentage of science knowledge learning achievement increased from 63,57% before cycle became 79,29% in the first cycle and became 84,8% in the second cycle. In addition, the percentage of students learning achievement completeness classically increased from 28,57% before cycle became 77,14% in the first cycle and became 91,42% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of mind mapping learning model in scientific approach using powerpoint media could improve science knowledge learning achievement.
