PENERAPAN MODEL TALKING STICK BERBANTUAN MEDIA ULAR TANGGA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran talking stick berbantuan media ular tangga siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Dauhwaru Kecamatan Jembrana Kabupaten Jembrana Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Dauhwaru yang berjumlah 12 orang dan objek penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner, observasi, dan tes. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa: persentase rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 69,78% dan pada siklus II sebesar 84,67%, persentase rata-rata hasil belajar IPA aspek afektif pada siklus I sebesar 65,4% dan pada siklus II sebesar 80%, persentase rata-rata hasil belajar IPA aspek psikomotor pada siklus I sebesar 66,3% dan pada siklus II mencapai 81,3%, persentase rata-rata hasil belajar IPA aspek kognitif pada siklus I sebesar 69,58% dan pada siklus II sebesar 81,67%. Ini berarti bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran talking stick berbantuan media ular tangga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Dauhwaru Kecamatan Jembrana Kabupaten Jembrana Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, motivasi belajar, talking stick, ular tangga
Classroom action research was aimed at finding out an increase in motivation and science learning achievement after implementing talking stick learning model assisted media snake ladder of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Dauhwaru Jembrana District, Jembrana Regency in the academic year 2015/2016. The subjects were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Dauhwaru which consists of 12 students and the object of this study is motivation and learning achievement. Data were collected by using questionnaires, observations, and tests. The collected data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study explained that the average percentage of student motivation in the first cycle of 69,78% and the second cycle of 84,67%, the average percentage of science learning achievement affective aspects in the first cycle of 65,4% and the second cycle by 80%, the average percentage of science learning achievement psychomotor aspects in the first cycle of 66,3% and in cycle II reached 81,3%, the average percentage of science learning achievement cognitive aspects in the first cycle of 69,58% and the second cycle of 81,67%. This means that the implementation of talking stick learning model assisted media snake ladder can increase the fourth grade students motivation and science learning achievement in SD Negeri 5 Dauhwaru Jembrana District, Jembrana Regency in the academic year 2015/2016.
