PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN MODEL THINK PAIR SHARE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PENGETAHUAN IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VB SD No.1 Dalung kuta utara tahun ajaran 2015/2016 melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan model think pair share. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi, serta refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VB SD No.1 Dalung yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VB SD No.1 Dalung. Data hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dikumpulkan dengan metode tes. tes digunakan berupa tes objektif yang terdiri dari 20 butir soal yang dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase rata-rata hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA siswa pada tahap observasi awal adalah 64% berada pada kriteria rendah dengan ketuntasan klasikal 35,1%. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA tersebut maka diberikan tindakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan model think pair share. Pada siklus I didapatkan persentase nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA siswa sebesar 73,2% berada pada kriteria sedang dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 82,3% berada pada kriteria tinggi. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 9,1%. Peningkatan juga terlihat pada persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa, pada siklus I sebesar 75,7% dan siklus II sebesar 83,8%, sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 8,1%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan model think pair share dapat meningkatnya hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VB SD No.1 Dalung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016Kata Kunci : saintifik , think pair share, hasil belajar, pengetahuan IPA
This study aimed to know the enhancement of VB class science learning outcome in SD N 1 Dalung, Kuta Utara Academic Year 2015/2016 through scientific approach with think pair share model.This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, evaluation, and reflection. This research subject was class VB SD No.1 Dalung Kuta Utara which amounted to 37 students. The object of this study is the result of science knowledge of students VB SD No. 1 Dalung. Learning outcomes data collected by the method of science knowledge test. Test used in the form of objective test consisting of 20 items were analyzed with descriptive statistics and quantitative descriptive ways. The result showed the average percentage of science student learning outcomes in preliminary observations stage was 64% which was low criteria with classical completeness 35,1%. To improve learning outcomes IPA knowledge then students was given an action using a scientific approach with think pair share model. In the cycle I the percentage obtained student average value learning outcome in IPA knowledge was 73,1% in the middle criteria and on the cycle II increased to 82,7% in the high criteria. An increase in knowledge science learning outcomes from the cycle II to the cycle II of 9,1%. Improvement was also seen in the percentage of students learning completeness, in the cycle I of 75,7% and cycle II of 83,8%, increase 8,1%. It can be concluded that the application of a scientific approach with think pair share model could improve learning outcome students in IPA knowledge of VB SD No.1 Dalung Kuta Utara Academic Year 2015/2016.
