PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION BERBASIS PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD GUGUS MOCH.HATTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan mengenai penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran konvensional berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus Moch.Hatta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Moch.Hatta tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling , sehingga diperoleh SDN 4 Panjer sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SDN 2 Panjer sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data Penguasaan Kompetensi Pengetahuan IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol (81,58 > 78,66). Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t dengan derajat kebebasan (dk = 50 + 49 – 2 = 97) pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh thitung > ttabel (1,90 > 1,67) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran konvensional berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Moch.Hatta tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : Model Group Investigation , Pendekatan Saintifik, kompetensi pengetahuan IPA
This research aimed to determining the significant difference mastery of knowledge competence in Science learning among groups of students that learned using Group Investigation learning model based scientific approach with student groups that learned using conventional learning model based on a scientific approach to the fourth grade elementary school students at the Cluster Moch.Hatta. Type of this research was quasi-experimental, with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research were all of students in fourth grade elementary school students at the cluster Moch.Hatta 2015/2016. The sample of this research using random sampling technique, there was SDN 4 Panjer as an experiment group and SDN 2 Panjer as the control group. Data mastery of knowlege competence science learning collected using the multiple-choice text, and then analyzed using t-test. The results of this research shows that the average achievement of experiment group more than the average achievement of control group (81,58 > 78,66). Base on t-test analyzed with (dk = 50 + 49-2 = 97) in significance standard 5% that the result shows thitung more than ttabel (1,90 > 1,67) that mean Ho is reject and Ha is accept. In this research it can conclude that there are significant differences mastery of knowledge competence in science learning among groups of students that learn using Group Investigation learning model based scientific approach with student groups that learn using conventional learning model base on a scientific approach on fourth grade elementary school students at the Cluster Moch.Hatta 2015/2016.
