PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN PROSEDURAL DAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan prosedural melalui penerapan model project based learning tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IVA SDN 1 Pemecutan tahun 2016 dan (2) meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA melalui penerapan model project based learning tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IVA SDN 1 Pemecutan tahun 2016. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA SDN 1 Pemecutan yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes. Data pengetahuan prosedural dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes subjektif (essay) sedangkan data penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa. Selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) skor rata-rata pengetahuan prosedural meningkat 0,21 dari rata-rata 3,11 pada siklus I menjadi rata-rata 3,32 pada siklus II. Ketercapaian pada siklus I mencapai 47,05% siswa yang mendapat nilai minimal 3,18 (B+) kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 85,29%. (2) skor rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 3,16, kemudian meningkat 0,31 menjadi rata-rata 3,47 pada siklus II. Ketercapaian pada siklus I 52,94% siswa yang mendapat nilai minimal 3,18 (B+) kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 88,23%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model project based learning dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan prosedural dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IVA SDN 1 Pemecutan.

This classroom action research aims to (1) improve procedural knowledge through the application of the model project based learning on student’s goals in grader IVA SDN 1 Pemecutan 2016 and (2) improve the mastery of competencies knowledge of science through the application of the model project based learning on student’s goals in grade IVA grade SDN 1 Pemecutan 2016. Subjects in this study were 34 students at SDN 1 Pemecutan in grade IVA. Data collection methods used in this study is the test method. Data was collected using a procedural knowledge of the subjective test (essay) while the data of IPA knowledge mastery of competencies collected using the usual multiple choice objective test. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the average score of procedural knowledge increased to 0.21 from an average of 3.11 in the first cycle to an average of 3.32 in the second cycle. Achievement of the first cycle reaches 47.05% of students who received a minimum value of 3.18 (B +) increased in the second cycle into 85.29%. (2) The average score of students' science knowledge mastery of competencies in the cycle I gained an average of 3.16, 0.31 and then increased to an average of 3.47 in the second cycle. Achievement of 52.94% on the first cycle students who scored a minimum of 3.18 (B +) and then increased in the second cycle into 88.23%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the model project based learning can improve procedural knowledge and mastery of competencies IPA knowledge on the theme of my ideals IVA grade students at SDN 1 Pemecutan.
