PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PORTOFOLIO DAPAT MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS VB

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dalam bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 11 Pemecutan melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis portofolio. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdapat tahapan-tahapan kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 11 Pemecutan yang berjumlah 39 siswa, terdiri dari 20 siswa putra dan 19 siswa putri. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan metode tes. Data keterampilan menulis dalam muatan materi bahasa Indonesia yakni menggunakan tes keterampilan menulis dilengkapi rubrik penilaian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan menulis dalam muatan materi bahasa Indonesia yang dilihat dari ketuntasan belajar. Pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar keterampilan menulis dalam muatan materi bahasa Indonesia hanya mencapai sebesar 46,15% yaitu dari 39 siswa terdapat 18 siswa yang mendapatkan B+, 13 siswa mendapatkan nilai B, 5 siswa yang mendapatkan nilai B-, dan 3 siswa mendapatkan nilai C+. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan keterampilan menulis dalam muatan materi bahasa Indonesia siswa telah mencapai 82,05% yaitu dari 39 siswa terdapat 21 siswa yang mendapatkan B+, 11 siswa mendapatkan nilai A-, 4 siswa yang mendapatkan nilai B, dan 3 siswa mendapatkan nilai B-. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis portofolio dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dalam bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 11 Pemecutan Tahun Ajaran 2015/ 2016.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, portofolio, keterampilan menulis.
This research was aimed to improve the writing abilities in Indonesia language for students at class VB SD Negeri 11 Pemecutan through scientific approach based on portofolio. This class activities research was conducted into two cycles. Each cycle contains stages of activities namely planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The subject of this research were 39 students from class VB SD Negeri 11 Pemecutan that includes 20 male and 19 female students. Data collection method utilized for the research was test method. The data shows the ability to write materials in Indonesia language which concurrently was also a writing skills tests include an assessment rubric. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics analysis method. After period of assessment, research results showed an improvement in writing abilities analyzed through study completion. In cycle I the completion of study related to writing abilities in Indonesia language only showed the number of 46,14% whereas out of 39 students 18 achieved B+, 13 received B, 5 received B-, and 3 students received C+. Moving forward, cycle II results showed 82,05% improvement in students writing abilities in Indonesian language whereas out of 39 students 21 students achieved B+, 11 received A-, 4 received B, and 3 received B- grade. It can now be concluded that the application of scientific approach based on portfolio can successfully improve the writing abilities in Indonesian language for class VB students from SD Negeri 11 Pemecutan year 2015/ 2016.
