Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning melalui Teknik Fish Bowl Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Pengetahuan IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dengan penerapan Model Problem Based Learning melalui Teknik Fish Bowl pada siswa kelas VA SDN 26 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA SDN 26 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah siswa 38 orang, yakni 19 orang laki-laki dan 19 orang perempuan. Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VA SDN 26 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan penerapan model Problem Based Learning melalui Teknik Fish Bowl. Data kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dikumpulkan melalui metode tes yakni berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar yang dicapai yaitu 55,26% atau 21 siswa dari 38 siswa mendapat nilai ≥ 75 dengan predikat B. Sedangkan pada siklus II yaitu 81,58% atau 31 siswa dari 38 siswa mendapat nilai ≥ 75 dengan predikat B. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning melalui Teknik Fish Bowl dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VA SDN 26 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : Model Problem Based Learning, Teknik Fish Bowl, kompetensi pengetahuan IPA
This study aims to improve the competence of science knowledge of the students with the implementation of Problem Based Learning model through theFish Bowl technique with students of SDN 26 Pemecutan VA class in academic year 2015/2016. This type of research is a classroom action research consisted of two cycles. The subjects in this study were students of SDN 26 Pemecutan VA class in academic year 2015/2016 consisting of 38 student, with 19 men and 19 woman student. the object of this research is the competence of science knowledge students of SDN 26 Pemecutan VA class in academic year 2015/2016 with the implementation of Problem Based Learning model through theFish Bowl technique. Data collected through the test method. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and quantitative descriptive analysis. The product In the first cycle of mastery learning is achieved is 55,26% or 21 students out of 38 students scored ≥ 75 with predicate B. Whereas in second cycle is 81,58% or 31 students out of 38 students scored ≥ 75 with predicate B. So, it can be concluded that the adoption of the Problem Based Learningmodel through theFish Bowl technique can incrase competence science knowledge of the students class VA SDN 26 Pemecutan in academic year 2015/2016.
