PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS ASESMEN PORTOFOLIO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA TEMA SEJARAH PERADABAN INDONESIA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 14 PEDUNGAN

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan keaktifan belajar melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio tema sejarah peradaban Indonesia siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 dan (2) meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio pada tema sejarah peradaban Indonesia siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan yang berjumlah 41 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi dan tes bentuk esai. Data hasil keaktifan dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) nilai rata-rata hasil keaktifan belajar meningkat 9,32 dari 75,7 menjadi 85,02. (2) nilai rata-rata hasil penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA meningkat 8,97 dari 77,07 menjadi 86,04, dan ketuntasan klasikal hasil penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA meningkat 19,52% dari 75,60% menjadi 95,12% dari jumlah siswa 41. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA tema sejarah peradaban Indonesia siswa kelas V SD Negeri 14 Pedungan.Kata Kunci : saintifik, asesmen portofolio, keaktifan, pengetahuan IPA.
This classroom action research aims to (1) increasing the students participation in study through the application of scientific approach based on portfolio assessment based on the theme “Sejarah Peradaban Indonesia” at the Fifth Grade of Elementary School 14 Pedungan academic year 2015/2016 and (2) increasing competence mastery of natural science through the application of scientific approach based on portfolio assessment based on the theme “Sejarah Peradaban Indonesia” at the Fifth Grade of Elementary School 14 Pedungan academic year 2015/2016. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 14 Pedungan - South Denpasar District totaling 41 people. Data collection methods used in this research are observation and test method. In the method of observation instruments used were observation sheet, whereas the test method used essay test instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive. The results of this study shows that (1) an increase in the average value of the students participation by 9.32 from 75.7 to 85.02. (2) an increase in the average value of competence mastery of natural science by 8.97 from 77.07 to 86.04, and increase in classical completeness results of competence mastery of natural science by 19.52% of 75.60% to 95.12% of the overall number of students. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of scientifically based approach to portfolio assessment can improve the students participation and competence mastery of natural science of students on the theme “Sejarah Peradaban Indonesia” at the Fifth Grade of Elementary School 14 Pedungan.
