PENGARUH QUANTUM TEACHING DALAM PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPS SD GUGUS LETKOL WISNU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS antara siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Kecamatan Denpasar Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan quantum teaching dalam pendekatan saintifik dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada tema cita-citaku. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain eksperimen semu (nonequivalent control group design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Kecamatan Denpasar Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling yang terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji kesetaraan pada setiap anggota populasi. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa nilai penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS (prates) yang dianalisis dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS antara siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Kecamatan Denpasar Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan quantum teaching dalam pendekatan saintifik dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada tema cita-citaku (thitung = 2,06 > ttabel= 2,00) dan rerata penguasaan pengetahuan IPS siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan quantum teaching dalam pendekatan saintifik, yaitu 80,00 dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, yaitu 74,51. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh penerapan quantum teaching dalam pendekatan saintifik terhadap penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas IV tema cita-citaku di SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Kecamatan Denpasar Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016Kata Kunci : quantum teaching, saintifik, pengetahuan IPS
This research aimed to determine an influence in the mastery of social knowledge competence between fourth grade students at SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu North Denpasar sub-district Academic Year 2015/2016 who followed quantum teaching in scientific approach learning and students who followed conventional learning at ideals theme. This research was designed in form of experiment research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all of the fourth grade students at SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu North Denpasar sub-district Academic Year 2015/2016. The research sample was determined by random sampling technique which was done by equivalent test to every member of the population. In this research, the method used to collect the data was test method. The collected data were the scores of the mastery of social knowledge competence which processed by t-test. Based on an analysis the result shows that there is significant difference in the mastery of social knowledge competence between fourth grade students at SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu North Denpasar sub-district Academic Year 2015/2016 who follow quantum teaching in scientific approach learning and students who follow conventional learning at ideals theme (thit = 2,06 > ttabel= 2,00) and the average of mastery of social knowledge competence in students who follow quantum teaching in scientific approach learning is 80,00 and students who follow conventional learning is 74,51. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence in implementing quantum teaching in scientific approach toward mastery of social knowledge competence at fourth grade students of ideals theme at SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu North Denpasar sub-district Academic Year 2015/2016.
